would like to welcome you to our campsite
First we would like to introduce ourselves….

In
the small
town Dalen we started a campsite with great success. Here we do everything
in our power to satisfy our guests. We have always gone camping ourselves
and have gained a lot of experience on how a campsite should be. Good
sanitary conditions and a clean area are important to us. We want our
campsite to be pleasant, with a good relationship between the guests and
us. During the season there are a lot of families with small children,
something which gives the campsite a friendly and lively atmosphere.

The campsite is grass-grown, relatively
flat and about 7 hectares.
Here you can stay wherever you like: sheltered, in the sun, by the river or
if you have children, close to a playground. There are power outlets almost
all over the area (16A).
We have five nicely decorated cabins in different
sizes. All are equipped with water and electricity. For shorter stays there
is the "Beaver-house", with 16 rooms and a shared living-room/
kitchen/bathroom. In the main building you will find a well-equipped
reception with all the information about the area and a small shop. In the
shop you can buy fresh rolls in the mornings.

Our canteen:
We have a nice canteen on our camping where
you can have a drink or something to eat. There is a TV present in our
canteen but it is only used for big games or international news.
Furthermore the canteen is a nice plays to hang out with your children on a
rainy day, especially because we have a cosy fireplace where you can have a
cup of hot coco. We have a kids corner and a small library where you can
get books in different languages. Off course computers with an internet
connection are present, free for you to use. When you require a good breakfast
we are at your service each morning.

The Reception:
When you arrive at the camping-site you
receive an information package which contains a map, excursion information and
some information about the village Dalen. The reception is opened from
08:00 – 23:00. Furthermore we also have a small shop were you can get
the necessary food, drinks and souvenirs. We also sell newspapers from all
over the world and we have a wireless internet connection over the entire
camping-site.

The camping-site:
The camping-site is situated on a small
island surrounded by a big river where you can catch good eatable fish.
Don´t be surprised when a beaver shows up in front of your tent!!
Normally you can see them on one
particular spot but sometimes they feel secure enough to swim around the
entire island. Not only beavers can be spotted near the camping-site but
also dears can be present, especially in the morning when only the birds
are awake. Now and then even an elk shows up near the camping-site. But it
is no problem when you don´t see an elk because we will tell you where you
can find them! Most of the time you can choose your own place to stay,
although it sometimes happens that we appoint you to a particular place.
The atmosphere at our camping is always friendly, cosy and family-like. Even though the camping-site
is almost fully booked it is surprisingly quiet.
